Wayne Rooney swears live on air after being asked about World Cup half-time show

Wayne Rooney gave a blunt verdict on the World Cup half-time show after being asked for his favourite moment from the performance.

“I’ll be honest, when it finished. I like a lot of them artists, but I thought it was crap,” the former England captain said.

His response prompted a reaction from fellow pundit Micah Richards, who jokingly called Rooney “miserable.”

The comments came during half time of the World Cup final, where Argentina faced Spain. Spain eventually lifted the trophy after a dramatic extra-time victory, with Argentina reduced to 10 men following Enzo Fernández’s red card.
