West Ham boss David Moyes was pleased with Alphonse Areola for victory at Brighton.
James Ward-Prowse, Jarrod Bowen and Michail Antonio struck for the visitors before Pascal Gross pulled a goal back for Brighton.
Moyes went with Areola over Lukasz Fabianski
He explained, "I have got two number one goalkeepers and we just thought it was time to give Areola the opportunity.
"He had a couple of brilliant saves today and he had some great saves against Chelsea last week so long may it continue."
