West Ham boss David Moyes says they know they face a major challenge against Brighton.
The Hammers go to Falmer stadium on Saturday.
Moyes said, "Brighton have been a bit of a bogey team for us and we have to overcome that and change it if we can.
Recently we've had a draw away from home at Newcastle, and a draw at Leeds United. We've got to find a way of picking up points away from home and we have to keep on doing that.
We've all been impressed with Brighton because they've built through a model. I think Brighton have been at it for ten years and you can see they've brought in younger players who maybe aren't ready at the time and give them a couple of years to come through.
They're doing a very good job at the moment. It's not just been me it's been hard for against Brighton, but many managers."
On Danny Ings after his impact against Nottingham Forest, he added: "What I've seen is what I expected and what we hope we continue to get from Danny. He's scored goals throughout his career and we hope that carries on here."
