West Ham United are being linked with a move for young defender Fabricio Bruno from Flamengo.

The Brazilian centre back is a prime target for the Hammers this summer, per Fabrizio Romano.

The transfer specialist claims that West Ham club director Tim Steidten wants to get the deal done quickly.

Defense is one area where the club want to strengthen with established players in the off-season.

While Bruno is 28, he is seen as being in the right age to come in and perform for the next four to five years.

He is in the prime of his career and has two Brazil caps, including against England in a March friendly.
