Ouattara comes back into the starting XI at the expense of Aaron Hickey, who picked up a knock during the international break. Nelson and Carvalho are back on the bench. Antoni Milambo was the victim of an anterior cruciate ligament injury while on international duty. He, therefore, is a long-term absentee, while Paris Maghoma is out with a thigh problem.

The Portuguese is seeking his first win since taking over the reins, having overseen a draw with Everton and defeat at Arsenal so far.
