What time is England v Argentina kick-off? TV channel and how to watch World Cup semi-final

England face off against Argentina in a blockbuster World Cup semi-final, with a place against tournament favourites Spain on the line.

Both sides scraped through the quarter-finals thanks to thrilling extra-time goals, with Three Lions talisman Jude Bellingham bailing them out against Norway, while a screamer from Julian Alvarez kept defending champions Argentina in the competition against 10-man Switzerland.

Rivalries will be restored between two nations steeped in historical tension both on and off the pitch, with England out to avenge their heartbreaking 1998 penalties defeat in an effort to go one game away from a World Cup title.

It will also be the first meeting with England for Lionel Messi, who despite picking up 205 caps for his country in a 21-year career has never faced the Three Lions.

Here’s everything you need to know.

When is England v Argentina and how can I watch it?

The semi-final will take place at the Atlanta Stadium, Georgia on Wednesday 15 July, with kick-off at 8pm BST (3pm ET).

The match will be shown live in the UK on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
