Wheelchair bound man among the first to arrive at SK Taman Sri Andalas to vote

KLANG - A wheelchair bound man was among the first to arrive at SK Taman Sri Andalas to cast his vote for the Sungai Kandis assembly seat.

Ahmad Tarmizi, 30, was accompanied by his brother Ahmad Baihaqi, 29 here at polling centre SK Taman Sri Andalas.

"My voting process today was very smooth from start to finish.

“The helpful polling volunteers and workers have helped me greatly. They are tremendously kind and helpful,” said Tarmizi.

He also expressed his hopes that the disabled community will have more rights and policies

“I hope that the future government does not abandon us.”

The state seat will see a three-cornered fight between Pakatan Harapan (PH) Zawawi Mughni, Perikatan Nasional (PN) Wan Dzahanurin Ahmad and Muda’s Afriena Shaqira Sariff.
