
The final of the World Cup 2026 takes place on Sunday, 19 July at the New York New Jersey Stadium.
2010 champions Spain have booked their spot in the decider after beating France in the first of two epic semi-finals in Dallas on Tuesday evening.
Later on Wednesday, England are looking to reach a first World Cup final in 60 years as they take on old rivals Argentina, the defending champions, in Atlanta.
It will be the first time the two countries have faced off in 21 years and will mark the first occasion Lionel Messi has faced the Three Lions.
But after 103 matches in total, what about the showpiece match on Sunday?
When is the World Cup final?
The final will take place at the New York New Jersey Stadium on Sunday 19 July at 8pm (BST), 3pm (ET).
The match will be shown live in the UK on BBC One, BBC iPlayer, ITV1 and ITVX.
Who will be the competing teams?
Either England or Argentina will take on Spain on Sunday.
What about the entertainment?
The final will be the first in World Cup history to have an official half-time show.
Madonna, Shakira, Justin Bieber, Burna Boy, BTS, Gustavo Dudamel and the PS22 Chorus will feature in the 11-minute show, curated by Chris Martin of Coldplay (who will also feature).
There will also be a Closing Ceremony before the match begins, which starts at 6:30pm (BST), 1:30pm (ET), 90 minutes before kick-off.
Tom Cruise, Laura Pausini, Nicole Scherzinger, Robbie Williams and IShowSpeed are among the acts set to perform as part of the show.
What about the third-place play-off?
The contest nobody wants to play in, the third-place play-off, takes place on Saturday 18th July at 10pm (BST), 5pm (ET) at the Miami Stadium in Florida.
