When is the World Cup final – and who will England have to beat to reach it?

  • England have reached the World Cup quarter-finals after beating Mexico 3-2 at the Azteca Stadium on Sunday night.
  • They are now just three games from glory, with the World Cup final set to take place on 19 July at 8pm BST at the New York New Jersey Stadium.
  • Next up for England will be a quarter-final clash with Norway in Miami on Saturday 11 July at 10pm BST.
  • If England win that match, they will then play their semi-final on Wednesday 15 July in Atlanta, with kick-off scheduled for 8pm BST, against either Argentina, Egypt, Switzerland or Colombia.
  • Should England get through that potential semi-final, they would then be into the final on 19 July to face one of France, Morocco, Spain, Portugal, USA or Belgium.
