When is the World Cup US opening ceremony – and who is performing?

  • The 2026 World Cup will see three separate opening ceremonies from host nations Mexico, the USA and Canada.
  • The third and final World Cup opening ceremony is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles, USA.
  • The event will commence at 12.30am BST on Saturday 13 June at the SoFi Stadium, ahead of the US’ match with Paraguay.
  • Pop star Katy Perry is set to headline the ceremony, alongside rapper Future.
