- Winger Brian Cipenga scored the goal with a low strike past Pickford in the seventh minute.
- The left winger recently signed for Spanish club UD Almeria from fellow second-tier outfit Castellon.
- Cipenga, 28, was born in the Congolese capital Kinshasa but moved to Portugal at an early age.
- His goal against England was his first for his country as he gained his 10th cap.
