- Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster is set to reopen on Friday, including the Land of the Tiger area, six days after 24-year-old visitor William Chapman was mauled to death.
- An inquest, opened at Doncaster Coroner's Court on Thursday, heard that Mr Chapman died of multiple traumatic injuries and had a diagnosis of schizophrenia with a history of psychosis.
- City of Doncaster Council, which licenses the attraction, is carrying out a health and safety investigation alongside police enquiries.
- The wildlife park earlier confirmed that Altai, the Amur tiger involved in the fatal incident, is safe and well and will not be euthanised.
- Staff at the park are receiving specialist trauma support as visitors are welcomed back.
