
Kota Kinabalu: Tuaran MP Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau and his Tenom counterpart Riduan Rubin retained their constituencies after the Federal Court dismissed applications to vacate their seats.
The court’s three-member panel consisting of Datuk Zabariah Mohd Yusof, Datuk Harmindar Singh Dhaliwal and Datuk Rhodzariah Bujang unanimously dismissed each appeal with costs.
PBS information chief Datuk Joniston Bangkuai had filed the appeal against PH’s Wilfred while Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat president Datuk Peter Anthony filed his against independent candidate Riduan.
