Story background: I am the eldest daughter in a family of 6 siblings. I have one elder brother and 4 youngest sisters. We are very close to each other and naturally noisy when everyone is around. #WittyRamadanStory is a compilation of my funny memories and conversations with my siblings. I am sharing these stories with my readers because I know that they are very relatable, for many of the memories are typical sibling encounters.

A week before Ramadan, my mom bought a flight ticket back to her hometown on the first day of the fasting month. She wanted to spend 2weeks of Ramadan with grandmother.
A day before the flight, at noon, mom was in her room doing a little more packing when my youngest sister (Syu) went to her and lay next to a bunch of clothes on her bed.
"Do you have to go?" my younger sister asked my mom. Such a baby, this girl. It's not like she's not used to mom going back hometown every once in a while.
"I will only be gone 2 weeks. Why? Your sister will be around."
"I know. But it's Ramadan. What are we gonna eat for sahur and buka puasa? We have nobody to cook."
"Kakak kan ada. I've talked to her she said she'll cook." Mom pointed at me.
"Yeah, I will cook, don't worry." I added.
She looked at me for a good few seconds and turned to mom, "We have NOBODY to cook!!"
HOW. RUDE.
The next day, we went to send mom off to KLIA2 for her flight. After a long goodbye hug and kisses, mom went her way. We stood there waving my mom goodbye from afar till we could no longer see her.
We left the airport and drove home. On the way home, my sister was fast to fall asleep in the car, leaving me to drive alone.
"Hey, don't sleep now! Who's gonna accompany me driving back?"
"I am very tired."
"And I'm not? I'm the one driving!"
"Fasting ... tired ... sorry .... nite nite ..." .... and there she goes snoring in the car.
Pfftt! This girl, so dramatic.
