Wolves boss Bruno Lage admitted frustration after defeat at Tottenham.

A second-half strike Harry Kane proved the winner today.

Lage said, "It's the same thing [lack of finishing]. It looks like the same beginning that we had in our first season the feeling is the same. We played very well against this great team with a top manager with a big personality. We controlled the game in the first half and created chances but in the end we go without any points.

"The same thing I said last year that the goals will come, I think it was the second or third game against Tottenham, and they did.

"It's not a weakness (Spurs' two midfielders against Wolves' three). When you put your pieces in, the opponent will give us the space. They normally have a line of five at the back and if you put three in there they can get past through the full-backs or the centre-backs.

"They defend the box very well and they leave the three runners behind. If they recover the ball then in three or four seconds they can be at the goal. For us it was to try to recover the ball. In the first half it was very good."
