Wolves are considering a move to appoint Pedro Martins as their next head coach.

The Premier League club sacked ex-boss Bruno Lage after they were beaten in the league by West Ham United on the weekend.

However, the Express and Star states that Wolves fans may not be too happy with their next managerial appointment.

Wolves are looking at Pedro Martins, who has taken charge of Portuguese sides Maritimo, Rio Ave and VitoriaGuimaraes, as well as Greek side Olympiacos.

He was fired in August after Olympiacos lost 4-0 at home to Maccabi Haifa in a Champions League qualifier.

But, he is a compatriot of several of Wolves' players, while he has worked with Daniel Podence and Jose Sa during their time at Olympiacos.
