Wolves won't rush their decision on finding a replacement for sacked manager Bruno Lage.

Despite Wolves dropping into the drop zone following Saturday's 2-0 defeat at West Ham, club chiefs are patiently working on their short list of potential candidates, says The Sun.

And it seems certain under-21s boss James Collins and his under-18s counterpart Steve Davis will be in temporary charge for Saturday's tough trip to Chelsea.

The Molineux club have suffered an early setback with sources in Portugal claiming one of their key targets Ruben Amorim has no desire to quit his current club Sporting Lisbon.

The Lisbon giants face a tough trip to Marseille in the Champions' League this week and Amorim is not ready to swap the opportunity of performing in the most high profile tournament in club football, for a relegation battle with Wolves.
