The Swiss defender is on the brink of moving to Molineux, says TMW.
With less than a year on his deal and refusing to consider new terms, Elvedi left Gladbach with no choice but to sell this summer.
Wolves are set to close an agreement for a fee of 9m.
The 26 year-old Elvedi has been with Gladbach for eight years.
