SEMPORNA: A 57-year-old woman suffered serious injuries while two others sustained minor injuries after the Nissan Almera they were travelling in skidded and crashed into a road divider at Kampung Bubul Laut here on Sunday.
The State Fire and Rescue Department received a distress call at 6.53am and rushed eight personnel to the scene.
Upon arrival, the operation commander reported that the Nissan Almera had skidded and crashed into a road divider, with three victims involved in the incident.
The woman was reported to be in serious condition, while two male victims, aged 16 and 20, sustained minor injuries.
Firefighters freed one of the victims who was trapped inside the vehicle before all three were taken to the hospital for further treatment.
The operation ended at 7.28am after the team ensured there were no further hazards at the scene.
