
KUALA PENYU: A woman was burnt to death in a house fire in Kampung Gerowot, here, Sunday, Info X reported.
In the 6.50 am incident, the victim's husband, Jumin Ansiu, 52, suffered burns on his arms, shoulders and back and was taken to the hospital for further treatment.
The charred remains of the victim, Ninik Yanuwati, 48, were found in the living room on the house's second floor.
Their children, Ellisa Easwerina Christy Jumin, 13, Marathon Wilson Abed Nego, 9, and Jumin's mother, Sinap Suram, 78, were safe.
