Kota Kinabalu: A businesswoman who allegedly outraged the modesty of a policeman at a roadblock two years ago, was given a discharge not amounting to an acquittal (DNAA).

Magistrate Stephanie Sherron Abbie gave the DNAA order to Nur Jawaheer Ismail, 36, after the witness failed to turn up in court.

Nur Jawaheer is accused of committing the offence at 5.30pm on June 1, 2021 at a roadblock in Jalan Kepayan, here.

She allegedly insulted the modesty of Corporal Maslin Samih by uttering: “Nasib kau ni lelaki, kalau kau perempuan, sudah lama aku kasi telanjang kau, aku rungkup kau (It is fortunate that you are a man, if you are a woman, I would have straightaway stripped you naked and pounce on you).”
