PENAMPANG: Police arrested a 43-year-old woman and seized suspected ketum liquid and leaves during a raid on a house in Putatan on June 19.
Acting on information, police raided a house in Kampung Ulu Seberang, Putatan, at about 1pm.
During the raid, police seized 30 plastic bottles containing suspected ketum water and a white plastic bag of suspected ketum leaves, with the total estimated value at RM975.
Processing equipment believed to have been used to prepare the ketum water was also confiscated.
Penampang District Police Chief Supt Sammy Newton urged members of the public with information on drug-related or ketum activities to contact the authorities immediately.
