
Tuaran: A 22-year-old woman cheated death when her Izuzu Dmax plunged into a 60-metre ravine near Kg Minangkob, Tamparuli, Thursday.
Tuaran Fire and Rescue Station (BPP) chief, Mohammad Nor Amit, said his team received an emergency call at 2.09pm from the people who witnessed the incident.
He said eight firefighters were rushed to the scene with a fire engine and a utility vehicle of the Emergency Service Assistance Unit (EMRS)
“Upon arriving at the location, we found the victim was injured and she was rescued by the firefighters.

He said the firefighters carried out an inspection at the location and the vehicle to ensure there were no other dangers.
“The operation ended at 3.15pm later,” he said.
