KENINGAU: A 40-year-old woman, Suzila Adip, was killed after being hit by a Toyota Hilux near a bank along Jalan Masak around 7.30pm on Monday.
Keningau Police Chief Supt Yampil Anak Garai said the victim, a worker at Casher Café from Kampung Samalang, died at the scene.
Initial investigations revealed the vehicle was heading from Keningau towards Jalan Masak when it struck the pedestrian crossing the dark, unlit road. The impact flung her into the path of an oncoming Proton Saga.
