Tuaran: A 36-year-old woman was killed after the car she was driving skidded and crashed in Kampung Taginambur, Kiulu, near here.
Jita Jason, who sustained severe head and hand injuries, died at the scene following the 9.55pm incident on Sunday.
Tuaran District Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) Chief Abdul Qawie Abdul Gapar said he received an emergency call regarding the incident about 10pm and a 10-member team was dispatched to the scene.
He said the trapped victim was extricated using a special equipment but was confirmed dead by the Ministry of Health.
The body was then sent to Tuaran hospital for further action.
