SHAH ALAM: A local woman was killed after she was believed to have been crushed by a lifting machine at a business premises in the Telok Panglima Garang industrial area, Kuala Langat, this morning.
Kuala Langat police chief Supt Mohd Akmalrizal Radzi said police received a report from a local man about the incident at about 11 am, while the victim, in her early 20s, was taken to a nearby health clinic at about 11.20 am for treatment after sustaining serious head injuries.
“However, the victim was pronounced dead by medical officers at the health clinic. Initial police investigations found no criminal elements in the incident,” he said in a statement today.
He said the victim’s body was later sent to the Forensic Department of Banting Hospital for further action.
Members of the public with information on the incident are urged to contact the nearest police station or the Kuala Langat District Police Headquarters (IPD) Operations Room at 03-3187 2222 to assist in the investigation.
