Police investigate after a woman’s body was discovered inside a suitcase at an apartment in Kajang, with no identification documents found.

KUALA LUMPUR: The body of an unidentified woman was found stuffed inside a suitcase at an apartment in Taman Impian Indah, Kajang, last night.

Kajang police chief ACP Naazron Abdul Yusof said they received a report regarding the discovery of the body at about 8.37 pm, before a police Forensic Unit team was dispatched to the scene.

“Upon investigation, police found the body of a woman, with no identification documents, stuffed inside a suitcase in the living room of the house,” he said in a statement today.

He said the case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.

Naazron urged those with information to contact Senior Investigation Officer ASP Nur Ayuni Aziz at 016-2080717 or 999 to assist in the investigation.

The media reported today that a foul stench emanating from the Taman Impian Indah apartment led to the discovery of a dead woman stuffed inside a suitcase.
