Woman seeks couple who helped her after Jalan Loke Yew accident, despite injuries, she thanks them and inspires netizens with gratitude
A woman involved in a road accident along Jalan Loke Yew is on a mission to locate a compassionate couple who came to her rescue during a moment of crisis.
The incident occurred between 8.30am and 8.45am on April 6 as she was heading towards the city centre.
Taking to the social media platform Threads, the victim expressed her deep gratitude and a lingering sense of guilt.
“I want to thank them for helping me. The akak’s (older sister’s) dress was stained with my blood from my head injury, and I feel very guilty. Please help share this until I find her,” she wrote.
The victim later shared an update accompanied by a photograph of herself, which showed visible bloodstains and surgical plasters across her nose.
She revealed that the impact of the crash was severe, requiring surgery for a broken nose and stitches for a head wound.
Despite the physical trauma and the recovery process ahead, her primary focus remained on finding the couple.
“Thank you very much; I truly appreciate all of you,” she told the netizens who helped amplify her message.
The post has since been flooded with well-wishes for a speedy recovery.
Despite her pain, her main concern was the ruined clothing of the stranger who stopped to help.
