World Cup 2026: Which countries are in Group A?

  • There are four teams in Group A at the Fifa World Cup 2026.
  • Mexico: One of the host nations for this year’s World Cup, Mexico will play the first match of the tournament against South Africa on 11 June at the Mexico City Stadium.
  • South Africa: The previous hosts of the 2010 World Cup have appeared in the contest on three occasions.
  • South Korea: Their best ever fourth-place result occurred in 2002 when they co-hosted the tournament with Japan.
  • Czechia: The team last qualified for the World Cup in 2006.
