Reports in Italy had claimed United had extended a contract offer to the 34-year-old free agent.
The Red Devils decided not to buy a replacement for Romelu Lukaku, who was sold to Inter Milan earlier this month.
And the Daily Mail says United will not bring in Llorente this summer.
The Spaniard is not without other suitors as Napoli and Lazio are interested in his signature.
