WWE seem keen to strengthen their tag-team division, which has lacked star power in recent years.
False Finish reported earlier this month that the company wanted to rebuild the division and were considering signing teams from other promotions.
The prospect of reuniting Enzo and Cass has since been mooted, with Fightful now claiming the former has stopped taking as many bookings amid rumours of a return.
But they may not be the only duo whom we could see back in WWE in the near future, with reports of interest in FTR now emerging.

WWE interested in re-signing FTR
Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, who were known as The Revival during their stint with WWE, are currently in the midst of a four-year contract with AEW, which they signed in 2023.
However, Body Slam now report that they are entering the ‘option year’ of their deal, and their former employers are taking note.
There has been ‘preliminary interest’ from WWE, though at this stage, no direct contact is understood to have been made.
FTR, for their part, have not indicated they will be leaving Tony Khan’s company immediately.
That is perhaps not surprising given the reasons they have previously cited for leaving the now TKO-owned organisation back in 2020.
Why FTR left WWE
Speaking on The Sessions with Renee Paquette in April 2022, Harwood commented on speculation linking them with a return to WWE at the time.
When doing so, he mentioned part of the reason they left in the first place was due to the lack of focus put on tag team wrestling.
He explained: “I think we know about as much as everyone else does. We left that place because they didn’t put a focus on tag team wrestling and we knew there was a ceiling to where we could go in the company.
“We wanted to do more, we wanted to be known as the greatest tag team of all time and we had to leave there to do that. We knew that and that’s why we were so persistent on them giving us our releases.
“Now, I see on the screenshot of all the different news outlets saying they want to resign us. And that’s flattering, that’s cool, we’ve got some more time left but I told Tony that there’s no way that we would ever talk contracts with anybody while we were working for him. We have way too much respect for him and our word means something.”
With WWE thought to have an interest in rebuilding the division, perhaps that could mean FTR are more open to a return.
But recent history does show that unless it is part of a bigger storyline, such as The Usos and The Bloodline, tag teams within WWE are very rarely given the spotlight ahead of established singles stars.
