WWE star CM Punk honored Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls with a memorable entrance at Elimination Chamber in Chicago.

The WWE world champion made his way to the ring to “Sirius” by The Alan Parsons Project, the signature intro music of the Bulls’ 1990s dynasty. The tribute immediately connected with the hometown audience.

Punk, born Phil Brooks, is a Chicago native who still resides in the city, and was wrestling his first WWE match in the city since 2013.

“Sirius” is widely associated with the Chicago Bulls’ championship-era introductions at the United Center. As the instrumental filled the arena, the reference to Jordan and the team’s golden era was unmistakable.

Throughout his career, Punk has consistently embraced his Chicago heritage, weaving it into his persona and presentation.

He has previously expressed admiration for Michael Jordan, making the entrance a meaningful reflection of both his roots and his sporting influences.

The Elimination Chamber entrance reinforced that connection by merging WWE pageantry with local sports history.

Speaking later about the entrance, Punk praised the choice of music and its lasting impact. He referred to “Sirius” as “a magical song,” highlighting its deep ties to Chicago and the Bulls’ legacy.

The moment drew widespread attention for its nostalgic appeal and emotional weight due to what the 1990s Bulls and CM Punk mean to the city of Chicago.

The energy in the building was present as Punk, then switched to his signature ‘Cult of Personality’ entrance music, with over 19,000 fans serenading the champion with the words of Living Color.
