Barcelona goalkeeper Neto is keen for Philippe Coutinho to stay.
The midfielder continues to be linked with a move away this month.
But Neto, after playing in the friendly win over Napoli, said: "Personally I hope he can stay, he is a close friend and an incredible person.
"But an opinion is not going to change anything."
Brazilian Neto was impressive in today's 2-1 win in Miami.
