Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was raging about VAR after they were denied a penalty in victory at Crystal Palace.

Despite playing midfielders Fernandinho and Rodri at centre-back, City could have won by a street and might have done if Wilfried Zaha had been punished for a push on Kevin De Bruyne.

Guardiola replied with angry sarcasm when asked about the incident, which VAR also ruled did not warrant a spot-kick.

The Manchester City boss said: He's diving. Every week he's diving. But against Tottenham it was handball in the 94th minute."

Guardiola was probably referring to the controversial VAR decision to deny Gabriel Jesus a stoppage-time winner against Spurs earlier this season, after Aymeric Laporte was adjudged to have helped the ball on with his arm.

Asked whether he was angry, Guardiola replied: Of course I am. For a long time."
