Romelu Lukaku has trained alone from the rest of the Manchester United squad.
Lukaku is the subject of intense interest from Inter Milan.
Sky Sports News reporter James Cooper has spoken of Lukaku ahead of their pre-season clash with Tottenham on Thursday.
The first place to start is Romelu Lukaku is training alone, that speaks for itself. He isn't fit and won't play against Spurs in Shanghai on Thursday, he's got an ankle problem picked up in training.
They've been trying to get him back to fitness, he's moving well enough but he is fractured from the main group and is working alone. He hasn't been doing the really hard fitness work, which I've been told is ferocious and double the capacity of what they did under Jose Mourinho this time last year.
It's going to mean there will be a meaner, fitter, stronger Manchester United, but with three weeks to go until the start of the season it's fair to say Romelu Lukaku is well off the pace."
