
LABUAN: Petronas through its social impact arm, Yayasan Petronas, has reached out 150 less fortunate families around the island this week, distributing food packages ahead of the upcoming Aidilfitri as part of the Uplifting Lives Festive programmes.
The food packages include Raya cookie hampers that were specially prepared by entrepreneurs participating in the Memampankan Ekonomi Asas Rakyat (Mekar) Programme under Yayasan Petronas.
Chief Executive Officer of Petronas Chemicals Methanol Sdn Bhd, Hiffani M Jalil, said the 150 families are part of 4,950 recipients under the programme throughout the country.
