Yew Sin-Ee Yi may miss Malaysia Masters due to Covid

KUALA LUMPUR – National men’s doubles pair Ong Yew Sin-Teo Ee Yi might not be competing in the upcoming Malaysia Masters due to Covid-19.

After their loss in the Malaysia Open quarter-finals match against Indonesian pair Fajar Alfian-Muhammad Rian Ardianto on Friday, Yew Sin tested positive for Covid-19.

“When I woke up this morning my throat was not feeling normal. So, I did a self-test before I went for training.

After training, I did another test and a double-line appeared. So, I did a PCR test, and it was confirmed,” he posted on social media.
