KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) President Datuk Yong Teck Lee has reaffirmed his party’s unwavering fight for “Sabah for Sabahan,” saying its partnership with Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR) is a long-standing alliance rooted in shared ideals under MA63.

“Comeback? I never left. The struggle is still the same,” Yong said, adding that SAPP has identified several constituencies with strong grassroots support and will coordinate with STAR under the Sabah bloc.

He confirmed that SAPP is no longer part of Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) and predicted internal clashes within GRS, PH, and BN in the upcoming state election.

“A new Sabah-based coalition will emerge after the election,” he said. “For us in the Sabah bloc — one voice, one direction, one struggle.”
