
MANILA, Philippines — Double Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo and his brother, Karl Eldrew Yulo, will headline the Philippine gymnastics team for the 20th Asian Games to be held in Nagoya, Japan next month.
The Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) announced the rosters for the men’s and women’s artistic gymnastics on Tuesday.
Both Yulo brothers will compete together following their appearance at the 2026 Asian Gymnastics Championships earlier this year.
The older Yulo will take part in his second Asian Games, after taking part in Jakarta in 2018.
The brothers are joined by Juancho Miguel Besana, Justine Ace De Leon, and Zachary Cortins Nuñez.
Meanwhile, the women’s team consists of Paris Olympian Levi Ruiviviar, along with Kylee Kvamme, Chiara Dawn Andrew, Lauren Supnet, and Haylee Garcia.
The rhythmic gymnastics team consists of Breanna Labadan and Jasmine Althea Ramilo, while the trampoline duo consists of Jerry Ilano Jr. for the men’s event and Luvicar Janine Padilla for the women’s event.
The Asian Games gymnastics events will take place at the Nippon Gaishi Hall in Nagoya.
