Inter Milan-owned striker Mauro Icardi was twice turned down by Real Madrid, it has been revealed.
Icardi is this season on-loan with PSG, having fallen out with Inter management last term.
Marca says Icardi and his agent and wife Wanda Nara held negotiations with Real in both 2017 and 2018.
However, on both occasions, Real Madrid patron Florentino Perez scrapped the deal, as he had concerns over Icardi's personality.
Icardi was offloaded to PSG on deadline day this year.
