This latest BYD SEAL offers two distinct variants designed to cater to different driving preferences.
The RWD version has 313 PS, 360 Nm of torque, and accelerates 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, while the AWD version offers 530 PS, 670 Nm of torque, and a 0-100 km/h time of 3.8 seconds. Both models use an 82.5 kWh Blade Battery for power and include CTB technology for structural integration.
The Performance Variant accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, making it one of the fastest electric sedans in its class. Meanwhile, the Premium Variant impresses with an extended 650km NEDC driving range, ensuring worry-free long-distance journeys.
We must add to the fact that the advanced DiSus-C Intelligent Damping Body Control System on the performance Seal has enhanced stability and comfort. This is ride and handling that is missing in many EV’s today from Chinese auto manufacturers.
The Seal Premium Variant is priced from RM171,800, while the Performance Variant starts at RM191,800.
