A true collector’s dream is born with the Zenith Defy Skyline C.X Edition

Founded in 2018, Collective Horology was born out of a shared passion for watches and a desire to bring unique, collaborative timepieces to life. Today, Collective continues to captivate watch lovers worldwide, not only through its exclusive watch releases but also through Openwork.image is not available

Minimalist Design

The brand’s collaborations, particularly with renowned manufacturers like Zenith, have garnered widespread acclaim. One of its earliest collaborations, the Zenith Chronomaster El Primero C.01 x Collective, set the tone with its sleek, minimalist design.

Now, Collective celebrates its tenth collaboration with Zenith, presenting the Defy Skyline C.X Edition, a bold reinterpretation of Zenith’s iconic Defy Skyline. The Defy Skyline C.X Edition builds on the Defy’s legacy, which began in 1969 as a rugged, durable model designed to withstand extreme conditions. image is not available

Versatile Style

With its sharp architectural lines, this modern version incorporates cutting-edge design elements, including a faceted steel case and a steel bracelet with a sandblasted matte finish. The dodecagonal bezel features a polished edge, mirrored by the polished case back, giving the watch a sleek, industrial look.

The dial of the C.X Edition is where the real magic happens. A matte silvery-grey backdrop enhances the signature starry sky pattern, with engraved stars that create a stunning gradient effect. The 1/10th of a second indicator, a rare complication in watchmaking, has been relocated to the 6 o’clock position for improved balance. image is not available

Attention To Detail

The orange accents, including the 1/10th second hand and “10” mark, add a touch of vintage industrial flair. Powered by the El Primero 3620 automatic calibre, this model offers a 55-hour power reserve and precise time-setting via the stop-second mechanism. The watch comes with both an integrated steel bracelet and a vibrant orange rubber strap, easily able to be swapped.image is not available

Limited to just 200 pieces, the Defy Skyline C.X Edition is exclusively available through Collective Horology and Zenith’s online boutique, with physical availability beginning 19 December.
