- During the podcast Dig It with Jo Whiley and Zoe Ball, Ball spoke about her plans for the week, saying: “Hopefully afterwards I’ll be able to tell you about it all, but obviously at the moment I can’t say anything about it.”
- Ball's co-host Whiley made a "Strictly gardening" joke after Ball mentioned needing to be glamorous for an upcoming event; Ball then swiftly moved on.
- Ball, who previously hosted Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two, expressed her desire to host the main show in January.
