If you are like me that need coffee to perk us up early in the morning, you might find this interesting. Like other international coffee chains, local coffee chain Zus Coffee has an app to place an order. You can place your order before getting your coffee ready upon arrival.

But what I find interesting is that you can reload the Zus Coffee app with gift coupons. These coupons are sold slightly cheaper than their face value. Therefore, you will be getting more out of your reloads.

Where can you get the Gift Coupons?

I found two places where you can buy these top-ups. The first is via the Touch-&-Go app and the second is via Lazada.

Touch & Go App

When you boot up the Touch & Go app, click "My Rewards" (in the red box).

Next, click the "Check-In Now". You can find this in the "A+ Rewards Daily Check-in".

Here, you can select the type of gift vouchers that you prefer.

Once your order is successful, you will reach this landing page.

Swipe the bar and the app will prompt you to either redeem now or later.

When you select "Redeem Now", a landing page like this will appear. Click the copy button to get the gift code.

Open your Zus app and enter the top-up button. You will reach here. Select the "Top Up Using Gift Voucher".

Just paste the gift card number you copied earlier and click the "Top Up Now" button.

Lazada App

Apparently, Lazada app gives better discounts. However, I find the instructions that came with the vouchers confusing. Apparently, you need to use Touch and Go app to pay for the vouchers. The poorly written instructions caused me to go to two different Touch and Go locations (at Nu Sentral and at Bangsar South) and to the Zus branch nearest to my home to redeem the vouchers, but to no avail. No one could advise me how to redeem the vouchers.

I was frustrated by the time I reached the Zus outlet but as I scrutinised the voucher, I noticed that I can copy the code. I decided to try my luck and copied the "code".

The rest is history.

Now, enjoy your coffee!
