哥打馬魯都區國會議員拿督威特倫巴漢達受邀為上述冷港區學聯運動大會主持開幕及頒獎禮.
拿督威特倫巴漢達國會議員在運動會開幕禮上致詞時希望藉此運動大會能訓練及戰拔運動員好手，以及鍛鍊好體魂求學.
他也呼籲運動員不僅在學業上有優異的表現，在課外活動方面也應標青.
