PAPAR: Owners and companies of 100,000 vehicles nationwide, excluding private cars, have been urged to register for the Subsidised Petrol Control Scheme (SKPS) starting Monday.

Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Datuk Seri Armizan Mohd Ali (pic) said registration was important ahead of the Ministry of Finance’s announcement on the implementation date of targeted Ron95 petrol subsidies.

He said applications for the fuel subsidy could be made on this website from 10am on Monday (Sept 15).

Armizan, who is also Papar MP, said eligible vehicles include taxis, rental cars, school buses, hearses, ambulances, fire engines, shuttle buses, minibuses, and various categories of goods transport such as panel vans, catering trucks and lorries.

He made the announcement at the Sentuhan Kasih, Jualan Rahmah Madani and Consumerism Advocacy programme at SMK Takis  on Saturday.
