11 OFWs return home from Jeddah, KSA

ELEVEN overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) from Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), arrived in Manila on Thursday and received post-repatriation assistance from the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) and the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).

The OFWs arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 on Saudia flight SV870, according to OWWA.

Upon their arrival, OWWA and DMW attended to the 11 returning workers and provided the necessary post-repatriation assistance to support their return home.

OWWA said its assistance would continue beyond the airport through its Regional Welfare Offices.

The returning OFWs may be linked to appropriate reintegration programs and other services based on their needs, the agency said.

The programs are intended to support the workers as they return to their families and communities.

OWWA added that its services and protection for OFWs continue from their arrival in the Philippines through their reintegration into their communities.
