SHAH ALAM - The nation recorded 15 deaths including three brought-in-dead (BID), according to the Health Ministry’s CovidNow portal.

There were 3,083 Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours.

Currently there are 41,599 new active cases, bringing the total number of cases to 4,714,498 since the pandemic began.

A total of 36,044 deaths has been recorded so far.

Klang Valley recorded the most Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, with an average of 2,252 cases.

Klang Valley and Selangor also recorded the highest number of deaths with 21 and 17 deaths respectively in the last 14 days.

In terms of vaccination rate, Klang Valley continues to lead with 100.9 percent, followed by Penang and Negeri Sembilan with 90.8 percent and 90.0 percent, respectively.
