Students of Mukand Public School, Model Town, Yamunanagar, secured prizes at the District-Level Yoga Championship organised by the Yog Bharti Association at DAV College. A total of 17 students participated in the championship, and all secured prizes in various categories, showcasing exceptional talent and dedication towards yoga. The school’s Rhythmic Group Performance team received a Special Appreciation Prize of ?500 from the chief guest, Principal of Khalsa College, for their outstanding presentation. Among the major highlights, Param was honoured with the title of ‘Best Yogi’ and received a trophy, gold medal, and cash prize of ?2,100, while Ruhi was awarded the title of ‘Best Yogini’ along with a trophy, gold medal, and cash prize of ?2,100. Students also won several gold and silver medals in different categories, including Under-8 Years, Under 9–14 Years, Rhythmic Pair, Artistic Solo, and Artistic Pair events. Ritu Behal also secured a gold medal in the 35–40 Years category. Principal Monika Sharma and Manager Shashi Bhatla congratulated the winners and appreciated the hard work and sincere efforts of the students and Ritu Behal. They expressed pride in the students’ achievements and extended their best wishes for future success.
