The police have arrested two natives of Uttar Pradesh’s Mainpuri for stabbing a 21-year-old labourer to death over a dispute of Rs 800 in Balongi. The incident took place on May 18. Victim Abhi, a resident of Azad Nagar in Balongi, had asked one Anil to pay him Rs 800 for work on May 17. Following this, Anil’s two brothers attacked him.
Suspects have been identified as Ram Ratan,19, and Chhotu, 20, currently staying in Balongi. The police said they had recovered the knife used by Ram Ratan in the crime. The police said teams were sent to UP to nab the duo. They were produced in a court, whichremanded them into three-day police custody. Anil is yet to be arrested.
